Thanks for your interest in our dip mixes! Here’s some info for those of you with special diets… All of our yummy mixes come from an FDA, PA Preferred kitchen in a commercial facility.
Are these GLUTEN FREE?
The ingredients that goes into the dip mixes are gluten free, however we do not advertise that it is gluten free. This is because our spices come from a few different places, all of which deal with other foods that may have gluten in them. There is a chance of cross-contamination!
How much salt is in the mix?
Most of our dips have no salt at all! Mixes with bacon bits or cheddar cheese powder have a small amount of salt in those ingredients. Mixes that we add salt to have less than 1/8 tsp. per packet.
What about nut allergies?
No nuts are used in our facility, however natural pecan and natural walnut flavoring is used. Some of our spices come from facilities that also package/process nuts.
These are low fat, right?
They can be! We use low/no fat sour cream and mayo, lite whipped topping, and low fat cream cheese all the time! You can also substitute yogurt or tofu!
Any other preservatives?
There is some silicone dioxide in a few of the dips. It is naturally occurring and helps to prevent caking, especially in dips that contain tomato powder.
